It is with great pleasure that we extend an invitation to you for the soft opening of our new Senior Technology Lab at the Brady Center, scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM. This initiative holds particular significance for us, as it seeks to empower our cherished College Park Senior Citizens by bridging the technological divide and fostering an environment conducive to learning and connection.
Our technology lab is thoughtfully designed to serve as a safe and supportive space where seniors can receive personalized assistance with smartphones, computers, and internet navigation. We recognize that engaging with technology can often be a daunting task, and our dedicated team is committed to ensuring that every individual feels both comfortable and confident in enhancing their technological skills.
In conjunction with technology support, we are pleased to introduce a community garden space, where seniors can participate in gardening activities. This hands-on experience not only promotes physical health but also contributes to mental well-being and provides access to fresh, nutritious produce. We firmly believe that such fulfilling hobbies can significantly enrich one's quality of life.
This program is under the stewardship of Holly Rodriguez, with invaluable contributions from Dwight Howard and the Metro Atlanta Urban Farm. Together, we are dedicated to creating a meaningful experience that fosters both learning and community engagement.
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us at this special event, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about our offerings, meet our team, and connect with fellow seniors. Your presence will undoubtedly enhance the significance of this occasion.
Thank you for your continued support. We eagerly anticipate your participation on February 24th
