Office of the City Manager

Dr. Adediran has an extensive track record in public works and municipal government, including Public Works Director for the City of Richmond, Virginia. Adediran also served as Assistant and Interim Director of Public Works for the City of North Miami Beach, preceded by time as the Assistant Director of Operations for the City of Miami.

During his public service tenure in Virginia, Adediran was the Director of Capital Projects and Facilities for the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and prior to that the interim Director of Public Works for the City of Petersburg, Virginia.And earlier during his time with the City of Richmond, he also served as Assistant City Manager.

By city charter, the City Manager oversees all departments and offices of city government, as well as hiring and firing of employees, oversight of contracts/vendors and purchasing, as well as implementing the budget and policies passed by the College Park City Council, essentially operating as the Executive Branch of local government in College Park.
