The Mayor and City Council of College Park have proudly appointed Lindell Y. Miller as the City Manager for the vibrant community of nearly 14,000 residents, conveniently located adjacent to the world-renowned Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Ms. Miller brings a wealth of experience in government management and has a proven track record in diverse areas such as Small Business Certification Programs, Economic Development Local Preference Programs, ERP system implementation, Government construction initiatives, policy formulation, procurement, and management of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), along with both Federally Funded and General Obligation Bond (GOB) projects.

With over two decades of dedicated public service in state, county, and municipal governments, Miller’s extensive expertise spans from overseeing complex software system implementations to crafting and executing impactful policies and procedures. She has successfully directed a multitude of construction projects, including amphitheaters, wastewater treatment facilities, county courthouses, and significant park renovations, managing budgets that range from $30 million to an impressive $300 million.

Ms. Miller takes the reins during a crucial phase of public engagement and City Council review of the city’s 2025/2026 fiscal year budget, anticipated to surpass $200 million.

“I am truly thrilled to have the opportunity to serve alongside the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, Council, and the wonderful residents of College Park,” expressed City Manager Miller. “I look forward to serving our community and continuing the good work here in the City. Together, we can build a cohesive team and formalize our operations, strengthening our commitment to residents, business owners, and visitors to our cherished airport gateway city.”

The City Manager plays a vital role in overseeing all city agencies and departments, managing personnel decisions, and ensuring the effective implementation of the municipal budget and city ordinances. The City Manager is accountable to both the Mayor and the City Council.

Ms. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, she is recognized as a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) by the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council and the National Institute of Government Procurement (NIGP).
